Think You can't "See" energy? Think again.

In my last article, titled How I found initiation into my True Nature by learning the 7 Levels of the Aura,  I shared with you how learning about the 7 Auric Levels was an initiation for me that gave my life meaning and direction.

It was a huge commitment to attend healing school from age 24-28, but it delivered me into my life work as a healer...and I haven't looked back since.

I promised to share about 7 different ways you can perceive energy with your own 'High Sense Perception.'

Let's dig in, so I can convince you that you don't need to be a psychic who was born with a "gift" in order to read your own energy.

Now, I know a lot of you think that you can’t “see” energy, so how can you possibly do this work of tuning in to the different levels of your Aura to figure out your blocks?

There are 7 ways to perceive your own energy field, some of which I’m confident you are already doing. They correspond to your 7 chakras.

1st chakra:

• This chakra is metabolizing your will to be in your physical body.
• The sense associated with it is the physical sense, or kinesthetic.
• If you are quite a physical person, sometimes you will feel things best through sensation.
• In the energy world this can be feeling hot, cold, boggy, sparse, tight, constricted, pulled to one side, etc.

2nd chakra:

• Here you feel your personal emotions about yourself.
• The higher sense is empathy-being able to pick up your own emotional state, and often others. 
• So many women are real experts at this...almost too good sometimes. They feel they are taking on others emotions and getting swamped.
• I can almost see some of you nodding your heads.

3rd chakra:

• The power centre, associated with clarity, intuition, and rational thought.
• This sense is intuition, or a vague sense of knowing. 
• Many women dismiss their intuition. 
• When you learn to pay attention to it and affirm it, it gets stronger and more reliable.
• Self-confidence, and self-respect (qualities of the 3rd chakra) help you trust your intuition.

4th chakra:

• Through the heart we feel love and connection in relationship.
• Would you believe that sensing love is a form of High Sense Perception?
• Remember a time when you sensed the opposite-malevolence, and you get how this is a real energy emanation.
• It's a very nice one to be picking up from yourself or others. Swamp me in that! Practice sending 'love bombs' out when you are in public and see how it changes your own energy.

5th chakra:

• Through the throat we speak our truth, express our vocation, and receive nourishment.
• The 5th chakra sense can be sound, symbol, vibration, and hearing words of guidance-from a guide, an angel, an ancestor, an entity...any of those folks not currently in bodies.
• This sense is usually referred to as clairaudience-hearing beyond the normal sound range.
• Some people experience 'high smell perception', that is smelling things in energy form. I have some good stories about this!

6th chakra:

• Ah, the famous one. I almost don't want to talk about it, because so many of us feel that if we aren't seeing energy, we can't perceive.
• This is clairvoyance-or seeing energy.
• You might see actual energy around people and objects, or you might see literal or symbolic images or 'movies' on your mind screen.
• Literal scenes are things that actually happened, symbolic ones have to be interpreted for meaning.
• I think dreams also come primarily through this sense. They are so visual.

7th chakra:

• Your crown chakra plugs you directly into divine source-your higher power.
• The sense connected with the crown is somewhat mysterious-direct knowing.
• Here information just drops in as a fully formed concept or knowing...except for you don't quite know how you know.
• This one is my favourite! It took some time for me to develop it. You can too.

​Bigger truth? I don't "see" in technicolour visuals. I "perceive" through many other senses, so I'm the perfect guide to help you learn how you do it.
