This dimension of your Aura expands out beyond your skin about 6”-9”. Just like the 2 levels below, it interpenetrates into your physical body. The 3rd Level of your aura is structured. If you could see it, it would look like fine lines of clear yellow light flowing throughout your body, tracing and wrapping all physical structures in a veil of yellow. Yes, you are all yellow, including the structured lines that form the spinning funnel shapes of your chakras on this level. This is the level of your personal thoughts. Your thought patterns also have a profound effect on your health. Positive thought? Bright yellow lines, clearly defined, scintillating with life energy. Negative thought? Your yellow becomes dull, even mustard coloured for really low vibration thought forms. There can be distortions in the lines which represent thinking that is out of alignment with reality. What Drags your Mental Body Vibrations down? Negative thinking. Simple as that. Have you ever heard the expression " to colour your thoughts"? Well, the colour of your thoughts on this dimension of your existence is yellow--and it's either bright and positive, or heavy, slower, lower vibration and negative. Have you ever been around someone who has malevolent thoughts, or who is very out of reality? Notice how you feel aversion, maybe even fear. You are sensing the very distorted and low vibration energy on their Mental level. How do you Raise your Vibrations in the Mental Body? Learn. Stimulating your mind through education develops this level of your field and moves energy along the lines. Is there a class you are longing to take? A language you want to learn? Don't just passively zone out on media. Engage your intelligence. Intuition. Rational thought is not the only kind of mind activity happening here. Your intuition also flows on this level as a vague sense of knowing. When you trust what you intuit, you receive the information into this level and translate it into a thought, or guidance you can take action on. Positive Thinking. Ever notice how uplifting it is to be around folks who are optimistic and see every situation as a form of opportunity? Become one of them! This is tough when you have a lot of emotions weighing you down on the emotional levels of your Aura below (Emotional Body) and above the Mental Body (Astral Body next week). Those clouds of heavy emotion will bog down the flow on your Mental Body. Positive loving feelings on Levels 2 & 4 encourage positive thought on Level 3. Thinking and feeling are a package deal. Psychotherapy and energy healing are very effective here; you have a space both for emotions to come up and be felt, and to gain a rational understanding of what you experience based on your history. Meditation. Ye old monkey mind will just keep on turning over if you don't learn to witness it, and access a calmer, more aware mental state. We all need a practice to quiet the mind and observe it's contents in a non-reactive way. Not everyone meditates by sitting on a cushion. Engagement with art (crafting, music, painting), movement practices, guided visualization, walking in the woods--there are many ways to settle the mind so your Mental Body clarifies.
