Shelley's Summer Journey: 2nd stop-Are You Looking for the Goddess?

My second stop (click here for first stop) on my Summer Journey was Camp Burton on Vaschon Island, just outside Seattle, WA. West Coast ahoy!

Here I gathered with about 60 of my close friends to sit around the fire in retreat and receive wisdom from elders of our indigenous tradition.

Many of you have expressed a longing to connect with the Divine Feminine. 

People sometimes refer to Her as the Goddess. Many times during healing treatments, she has revealed herself as a felt presence. It’s always a blessing for me when She manifests during a healing treatment.

My own relationship and experience of connection with the Goddess has been deeply informed and nourished by my yearly gathering around the fire with these deep friends who share the same indigenous path.
